The Chutneys

 
Each of our new chutneys have been specially and thoughtfully created to pair perfectly with some of our most loved British handmade cheeses. 


Each of our four chutneys has the stamp of approval of one of the UK’s best cheese makers. 


‘Old School Fruit Chutney’- dark oozy, spicy and lovely, just how a proper ploughman’s chutney should taste.  With masses of fruity spice, perfect for cheddar and hard cheeses.


Apple, Pear & Ginger Jelly – A gentle, fruity, gingery preserve that comes alive when paired with Trethowan’s Dairy Gorwydd Caerphilly or is equally at home with other British crumbly cheeses.


Onion & thyme marmalade – a sweet and tangy chutney, we think is perfectly paired for the cool, buttery Stichelton or other British blues.

 

Apricot and Cider Chutney – sweet with appley notes of Cider and a delicious delicate accompaniment to Goats Cheeses like Dorstone.
