Inspired by simplicity, our aim for the shop is to showcase our own cheese and a small range of our favourite cheeses, many of which are made by friends of ours and which we hope represent some of the best examples of each family of cheese. Having a small number of cheeses means that we can know about and look after our stock really well. The benefit of this and of buying, where we can, directly from the farms, is that the cheese reaches you in the best condition possible.

Parties and Picnics

We are happy to provide or suggest cheese board selections for dinners, cheese clubs, parties and events. 

A simple but stylish option is is a whole wheel of cheese such as Gorwydd Caerphilly, a couple of lovely jars of chutney and packs of oatcakes, and a suggestion for some well chosen wine.

We would love to come along and do an informal cheese and beer or cheese and wine tasting at your event.

When summer comes we can provide you with a delicious picnic to take into Castle Park or some other lovely grassy place. We prefer a days notice for this.

A popular and dramatic choice for special occasions is a ‘cake’ made up of 4 or 5 whole cheeses.

We can also cater for your event with raclette and/or cheese toasties.
